The first three Phases will provide you with an indication of the stages you should progress through if you are to succeed within a career with Utmost 

Phase One: Establishing Sales and Performance

We believe our organisation is unique in the services we provide to the clients and the opportunities we have available for the ambitious. As a result, we believe that everyone who starts within the industry would benefit from starting their career in phase one of the development program. Phase one establishes the foundation and fundamentals of your career development.

Phase 1 focuses on:

  • Product and industry knowledge
  • Introduction to field base sales
  • Creating a good impression
  • Customer Service Essentials

Phase Two: Proficiency in Sales and Leadership

Once you have established the basic understanding of the sales process, you may enter into phase two. This allows the individual to build effective relationships with future business partners and customers. This is a very important part of the career development process. During this stage, you are able to step into a mentoring roll for others around you and become more independent with the fundamentals and the business.

Phase 2 focuses on:

  • Building effective relationships
  • Interacting with different demographics
  • Becoming more independent
  • Start working towards KPI’s
  • Introduction to the principles of sales coaching

Phase Three: Development of Team and Leadership Group

Phase three is a really exciting time for the individual. It’s when the ambitious can use the skills they have developed and start mentoring others and help guide their careers. During this phase, it’s time for self-reflection and development. How do others perceive you? Do you inspire others? Are you the best role model you can be?

Phase 3 focuses on:

  • Expanding your comfort zone
  • Enhancing business knowledge and understanding
  • Mentoring a small group
  • Start to take more control of your career
  • Being organised and planning your career
