WooliesX is seeking a Scrum Master for its digital platforms. In this role, you will be a servant leader, responsible for the delivery of digital initiatives within a Tribe/Scrum model. You will be responsible for ensuring all squad based activities are carried out including; daily scrums, spring planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, coordinated releases, track the progress of sprints, participate in x-squad and x-tribe synchronisation ceremonies and protect the team by helping to remove impediments.
What you will do
? Responsible for delivery of initiatives and feature sets within a Tribe/scrum environment, achieving expected outcomes
? Ensure that all squad/scrum based ceremonies are performed and that JIRA and the tribal Visual Management walls are maintained
? Track squad based activities using JIRA and Visual Management Aids
? Leverage empirical evidence to strengthen estimates, planning and delivery processes
? Follow up on actions from retrospectives and other ceremonies, removing blockers and ensuring the squad are able to maintain focus on delivery
? Work closely with Product Owner to prepare the squad's Squad Backlog and Sprint Backlog
? Work Closely with the Delivery Lead to coordinate releases and x-tribe work
? Coach the team in scrum practices, agile ways of working and outcome-based delivery
? Be an advocate of Agile engineering techniques such as TDD and automated testing
? Facilitate and encourage team empowerment and creativity
? Participation in appropriate Tribal Activities, particularly the Scrum Master Chapter
? Work with the Agile Coaching community to implement a robust continuous improvement practice within your Tribe and Squad
What you will need to succeed
? 2 years experience in delivering agile projects and developing high performing teams as a scrum master in a digital environment
? Strong facilitation and workshopping skills
? Good technical ability and understanding of scrum/XP
? Great Servant Leadership skills, with a strong ability to influence
? Pride in the work you do and everything you get involved with
? Independent thinking, and not being afraid to suggest new ideas and communicate the facts
? Obsession with your craft, down to the smallest detail
? Data-driven but able to make judgement calls when necessary
? Passionate about the delivery of outcomes and quality
? Creative, sociable and diligent individual with a passion for all things digital
