About the Role:
Driving us towards Operational Excellence in the Storage and Backup spaces.
Ensuring Operational Excellence in all activities of the Data Admin and Storage teams
Day to Day management of a small team
Adherence to IT Service Management disciplines and company methodologies.
Identification of risk and mitigation of the same
Sound and logical solutions to address or resolve issues, risks and opportunities.
Ensure that the culture of customer service and satisfaction is maintained at all times by the team, with responsiveness to customer needs and pro-activity to business and technical requirements.
Work directly with Service Owners to provide feedback on the performance of their service
Manage escalations hierarchical and process related escalations.
Provide direction and coaching to direct reports
Provide After Hours escalation on a rotating rostered basis

We are looking for our next superstar with the following experience:
Exceptional Operational experience in Storage & Backup.
A strong track record Managing Large Enterprise Backup and Storage services.
3 years experience managing a team (3 - 10 members).
Previous experience working in a multi sourced environment.
Managing a team in a high pressure environment and enterprise size company.
Experience in working within a large organisation at the enterprise level.
