Woolworths’ Legal Services function services the entire Group by providing timely, professional and frank legal advice that addresses the company’s risk profile and helps guide our business clients to lead the market in a fast-paced, nimble environment.
As Woolworths’ operating model evolves to put customers at the centre of decision making, move more accountability to the businesses, and encourage collaboration across the organisation, Legal Services will partner with the business across multiple jurisdictions to enable this to occur in a robust and sustainable way. The nature of this shift requires an increasing focus on the provision of strong, cost effective legal advice and services across a range of technical areas to guide Woolworths to achieve its goals.
The role will be responsible for providing legal transactional services and advice to a diverse range of clients across the Australian Food Group and Commercial Property team on a broad range of property related matters, including:
The role may also provide property related legal services and advice related to non retail Woolworths property assets and sites, such as Distribution Centres and Office sites.
